چکیده

Knowledge of the normal length and skeletal proportions lower limb is required as part evaluation discrepancy. When measuring length, modern standing full-length digital radiographs confer a level clinical accuracy interchangeable with that CT imaging. This study reports set normative values for using 753 patients (61% male). Lower femoral tibial femorotibial ratio were measured in 1077 limbs. The reliability measurement method was tested intra-class correlation (ICC) agreement between three observers. mean limbs 89.0 cm (range 70.2 to 103.9 cm). Mean 50.0 (39.3 58.4 cm) 39.0 (30.8 46.5 median side-to-side difference 0.4 (0.2 0.7, max 1.8 324 paired population 1.28:1 1.16 1.39). A moderately strong inverse linear relationship (r = −0.35, p < 0.001, Pearson’s) identified corresponding ratio. PACS-based used this displayed excellent inter-observer (ICC 0.99). presents range adults first identify

Present study describes the length-weight (LWR) and length-length (LLR) relationships of a freshwater catfish Eutropiichthyes vacha Hamilton from Indus River, Sindh, Pakistan. A total of 281 specimen of E. vacha were collected from fisherman?s catch from February 2005 to January 2006, are used for this study. The parameters a and b of the length-weight relationship were calculated as W= aLb are...

Determining Factors Influencing Length of Stay and Predicting Length of Stay Using Data Mining in the General Surgery Department

Background: Length of stay is one of the most important indicators in assessing hospital performance. A shorter stay can reduce the costs per discharge and shift care from inpatient to less expensive post-acute settings. It can lead to a greater readmission rate, better resource management, and more efficient services. Objective: This study aimed to ident...

Tibial shortening for leg length discrepancy.

Over a 25-year period, 12 patients had from 2.5 to 5.1 cm operative shortening of the tibia and fibula for leg length discrepancy at between four and 18 years of age. All recovered normal function and there was minor cosmetic impairment in only two cases. The only vascular complication was temporary delay in return of the circulation to the foot after tourniquet removal in one patient. The proc...
